March Happenings

Katelyn...
Katelyn is doing so well in Kindergarten. She really is starting to pick up on her reading. She is a social butterfly and is always begging me to call a friend so she can play. She likes taking care of Tyse and is always playing house with him. It was CRAZY Hair Day at school a few weeks ago. We had fun making Davin and Kate's hair as crazy as we could. They are such good buddies and have a lot of fun together.

Tyson...
Tyse is not our little baby anymore. He is getting really big. He is now eating pretty much all table food and so does not want his baby food anymore...I don't blame him. He army crawls everywhere and is getting really fast. Some funny things he does... tries to stand up by pushing his hands against the floor and sticking his cute little bum in the air, makes all different kinds of sounds with his mouth-the latest is blowing raspberries (never have to take a shower when you're holding him) and clicking his tongue, he jabbers a lot-he says da da and ba ba-who knows what it means. He always has a smile and is so content just hanging out playing with toys.

Davin...
All Davin wants for Easter is his two front teeth...it is funny trying to watch him attempt to eat anything hard because there is just nothing there. Davin has been taking piano lessons for about 7 months and is already moving on to level 1. He loves playing and is doing really good. Davin and I went on a field trip to the Treehouse Museum. They did a lot of cute things for the kids-made a magic wand craft, put on a play, and told lots of fairy tale stories. Davin had to teach his class something and show them how to do it...he made playdough. All the kids loved it and Davin gave each of the kids some that he had made to take home.

Daxton...
I don't know if I have enough room to write about all of Daxton's adventures just from this month. Here are just a few of his crazy ones. It was after bedtime and me and Dan thought all the kids were in bed when Dax comes walking in covered in red nail polish. He actually did a pretty good job too. Dan and I had to cover our smiles and pretend we were mad...it was hilarious. Daxton now takes a gymnastics class. It is great because he can run around really crazy and get all his energy out. He insisted on being superman in his class this week and I just had to capture him in character-he told me his glasses "make him frown." Oh there is more...he has escaped twice in the last two weeks with hardly a trace. We have these special locks on our doors because he likes to wander a bit, but he has found a way to open them. The first escape was to a neighbors house a block away (the way I found him was because he had pushed a stroller all the way there and had left it in their front yard). The second time, I had left to run errands and Dan let him go outside to play and not even two seconds later a man was carrying him up our driveway because Dax decided to go looking for me and was almost to a really busy road nearby. Always looking for an adventure, what a crazy boy!

  1. That last picture of Dax is priceless!!! You're lucky to have such an amazing and protective superhero in your family, ya know... ;) Plus, he's an adorable one!

You have beautiful children and it is so neat to see pictures of all of them together wearing their temple white. I've said it before and can't say it enough: They are so blessed to have come into a family with such loving parents!
