Tyse's first haircut

August 30, 2010
Tyse is already 3 1/2 months old. I took him for a check up a couple weeks ago and he is already 12 pounds 2 ounces. He loves his bottle and never misses a meal. Tyse laughs and loves to play with toys. I can already see the all boy coming out in him. He loves sitting in the stroller and going for walks. We are having so much fun with him.

Boy do I need a haircut!

A whole new me!

Always a party with Dad!

We love going to Surf N Swim with our awesome Dad!

Two Months Already

July 2010
Can't believe how big our little man is getting. He is such a happy baby and sleeps through the night already. He is such a joy. The kids love taking care of him too.

Showing off his first smiles.

Take me out to the Ballgame

More July Fun!
Kate's Grandpa D's work sponsors a Raptors game every summer. The kids definitely go to see the Raptor-poor thing. I think the kids gave him high-five at least 10 times if not more. The game was awesome, but I'm not even sure if the kids know it is baseball. It could be underwater basket weaving for all they know.

Happy 5th Birthday Kate!

July 20th
Birthdays are always big around here. My parents made cupcakes and invited the whole family over on Sunday for a pre-party.

Kate's cousin Rachel. These two were inseparable all summer long.
Always so "lady-like"
On Kate's real Birthday she chose to go to Arctic Circle for dinner. She invited my parents and her aunt Angie, and two cousins-Rachel and Luke
Grandma and Kate's baby brother Tyse

Next, Kate chose to go bowling at Boondocks. Daxton bowled different every time he went to throw the ball down the lane. Every time he would hit any pins down he would do a funny victory dance. I would say he was the entertainment for the evening.

Can't leave Boondocks without playing a couple games first.

After Boondocks, it was back home for cake, ice cream, and presents.

And they lived happily ever after...

Summer Fun

July 2010
We spent about 10 days up at Dan's parents cabin and at Lava Hot Springs. It was a blast to escape from home and just spend fun time with family. We played a lot in Bear Lake and up in the mountains hiking and 4-wheeling. It is definitely one of our favorite get aways all year long.

We even had to break Tyse into all the fun. He loved being outside.

We all built an awesome castle which of course we destroyed before we left. I think that is the kids favorite part.

We go up to Lava every summer with Dan's mom's side of the family. The kids look forward to it every year. We love the huge swimming pool, slides, and one of our favorites is floating down the river on tubes. This year Davin went for the first time and loved it!

There was a mini pool at the place we were staying that is like a hot tub. The 'kids"-(that includes Dan) spent most their time in the water. I didn't think their skin would ever unwrinkle.

We always do some fun projects while we are in Lava. This year the boys built bird houses. Davin and Daxton's cousin helped them.

The girls of course played beauty shop. We did nails, toes, and hair.

What a cutie!

This is how we all look when it's all over.
