This by far was the craziest place he has been found. He was hanging off the stool in the kitchen...snoring! His little face was covered in chocolate and was stuck to the stool. When we lifted him up he was so tired he stayed asleep.

Field Trip to the Fire Station

Daxton and I got to go with Katelyn on her preschool fieldtrip at the fire station. Dax and Kate loved seeing the "BIG TRUCKS!!!" as Daxton says. They went inside an ambulance and Dax even put on the firemans boots and hat. They became official junior fireman and even got a badge. We had a lot of fun!

WOW!!! 10 Amazing Years

Dan and I went to Kauai for our 10 year anniversary just the two of us. We went to basically relax and enjoy time together. Well, if you know us you probably wouldn't be surprised that there wasn't much relaxing going on. The first day we were there we hiked the Kalalau trail on the Na Pali coast- an 8 mile round trip hike into this amazing 300 ft. waterfall. That was just day 1. On day 2 we kayaked down the Wailua River, hiked to another huge waterfall, went cliff jumping, and did a little rope swinging. The rest of the week was of course equally adventurous and amazing. We snorkeled and boogie boarded with turtles, rode in a helicopter, swam under more waterfalls, hiked, ate, and yes we did relax on the beach. What a beautiful place. We did miss the kids a lot and loved it so much that we are gonna go back in a few years and take them with us
