Every year over Labor Day weekend we go camping with all of Dan's family up in Colter Bay. This year no one could go, but we decided we wanted to keep the tradition and go up anyway. Dan's parents came up with us and brought one of the kids' cousins too. This was a very eventful and crazy trip. It all started out with Tyson throwing up in the car. Yes it was everywhere and we hadn't even left yet . The kids were all in the car and Dan and I were running through the house doing all the last minute things when Dax ran in the house to tell us what had happened. We both just laughed thinking ya a little spit up, but we were wrong. We decided to go anyway so we hurried and cleaned up and left. Well it all went down hill from there. Kate got it, Daxton got it and Tyse kept on having it. It was crazy and we almost turned around a few times but decided to just keep going. After the first day they all felt better, luckily, and it ended up being a blast. We stopped in Jackson Hole at a park for a picnic to let the kids play and for a break from driving. They loved the fresh air.
One of our favorite places to bike to is the Jackson Lake reservoir. It is so beautiful and the kids love making a splash.

Dan packed in his inflatable kayak and we floated around the little island in the middle of the lake. It is so beautiful up there.

We left Colter Bay a day early so that we could spend our last night at the cabin. It was nice not having to drive all the way home in one day. Dan and Dax took the 4-wheelers up the canyon exploring.
When we got home from our trip and pulled into the driveway, Dan and I both got really sick...we barely made it...phewww!
